GST 2.0 — the new slab structure, plain and simple

Rationalized slabs mean your pricing and invoicing may need a second look.

GST rates have been rationalized into a simpler slab structure. Some goods and services moved slabs entirely — which means your pricing, invoicing and input credit calculations may need a second look.

Who this affects: any business selling goods or services, and startups still setting their pricing.

What to do: check your HSN/SAC codes against the new slabs. Update invoice templates and price lists that reference the old rate. Reprice anything whose rate has actually changed — don't assume it hasn't.

Not sure which of these you need?

That is a normal place to start. Call and describe the situation in your own words — you will get a straight answer on what applies and what it involves.
