Here are some facts about Trust Registration:

A consensus between two people, called trustees, created in order to manage one or more than one property is called a Trust.

A Trust is liable to be in accordance of the Charitable Trust Act of 1957. Together, a group of trustees form a Board of trustees. Apart from the Trust Act, a Trust is also required to be registered with IRD.

The Requirements
  • 1.

    A certified copy of the Trust Deed.

  • 2.

    Application to form a board of Trustees, signed by all trustees.

  • 3.

    Statutory Declaration. 

  • 4.

    At least one witness. 

  • 5.

    The name of the Trust's Author

  • 6.

    Location of the Trust's office.

  • 7.

    Bank Account front page and transaction history copy. 

  • 8.

    Details regarding the future projects of the Trust.

  • 9.

    A certificate for compliance of Section 13 1 and a copy of the Pan Card.
